Wed, 16 Nov 2022 11:17:41 +1000Agent is active in community affairs, knows the community well, offers helpful advice to many community members on a local email listserv, and is respected for her local knowledge The house sold immediately -- the first prospective clients who came to view the house offered to buy it. Susan played an enormous role in everything leading up to that -- most notably, dealing with the contractors who prepared it for sale. This lasted for many months and was excruciating. I appreciated Susan very much during this process. Susan's initial presentation during which she educated me about the process and what to expect was excellent. I had experience selling houses, and her straightforward professional approach was the best. Susan also handled a potentially awkward situation very professionally : her company worked with contractors. Based on her recommendation, I hired them and had a terrible experience with them. Susan remainced straightforward, clear and professional throughout this experience. At times, she served as my advocate. At other times, she represented Century 21 which had a business relationship with the contracting company. She navigated this in a fair and reasonable way. The bottom line was that she was always calm, clear and professional, and she got results. I did not meet any other Century 21 New Millennium staff, but I did meet the Curbio contractors with whom Century 21 New Millennium works -- and whom the company strongly recommended. If Century 21 New Millennium continues to work with Curbio, I would be highly motivated to discourage anyone from working with Century 21 New Millennium.

At our first meeting with Susan, we knew that it would be fun to work with her. Then, thanks to her expertise, she guided us to our strongest offer, and the sale went smoothly. She made our conversations with our buyers clear, friendly, and professional. The same was true for our contact with the housing coop staff, and our appraiser, and our settlement attorney's staff. Even after closing, she stayed in touch, reassuring us that out wire transfer had been made for the purchase of our new home, and that she had contact with our escrow officer for that transaction. We're still having fun!

The positive reviews from her previous clients were so impressive, and it was very clear that she knew Cheverly very, very well. We also truly appreciated our initial meeting with her - she was patient, thorough, and clear about what the entire process would look like and made us feel very comfortable about the experience we would have with her as we went through the home buying process for the first time. She provided spot-on recommendations and was always very clear and prompt with communication. As real estate shopping has shifted more and more to the internet, Susan was very much in-tune with what it takes to put together an appealing online listing. I received multiple compliments on the photos she took for my listing, and I believe they were a key factor in securing two full price offers just 3 days after going on the market! The listing agent and the sellers were both not detail oriented and did things that they shouldn't have done (agreeing to open the pool before closing according to the home inspection agreement and then deciding that they didn't want to). Susan came up with options that worked for us both and kept things moving forward.

When the time came to sell the property in 2015 we had no hesitation in engaging Susan again. Susan has dealt in the area for many years, her integrity and understanding of the market is impeccable.
